Addressing critical needs in Portland
Every day, individuals and families in our community struggle with homelessness, untreated mental health conditions, substance use, overdose risk, community violence, poverty, and a lack of access to essential resources. Many people want help but do not know where to turn, cannot navigate complicated systems, or have experienced barriers that prevent them from receiving services.
Frontline Community Services works to meet people where they are. We believe meaningful change begins by building trust, listening without judgment, and connecting people with practical support. Our goal is not simply to provide a temporary resource. We want to help individuals move toward long-term stability, improved health, personal safety, recovery, and self-sufficiency.
Safe and stable housing is one of the most important foundations for a healthy life. Without housing, it becomes significantly more difficult for an individual to maintain employment or attend medical appointments.

We are boots on the ground and in the community, providing direct support and building relationships where they matter most. Our team is dedicated to reaching out, offering help, and empowering individuals to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
Through our direct engagement, we connect people with vital services, provide immediate assistance, and serve as a constant presence for those who need it most. Our approach is hands-on and heart-led, ensuring that our efforts create tangible, positive change in people's lives.
Meet our dedicated founder
Gionni Gambino, the passionate founder of Frontline Community Services, grew up in Portland, Oregon, with a deep-seated desire to help others. His journey began seeing his mother help those in need, as a CRM-certified Recovery Mentor, and over the last 10 years, his dedication has led him to achieve a double bachelor's degree in criminal justice and social work, along with a double Master's degree in clinical psychology and sociology.
Having worked extensively in community outreach, Gionni recognized the need to do more. This drive inspired him to establish this non-profit organization, allowing him to create a greater impact and provide comprehensive support to those in need in his hometown.
